Projects
Our project portfolio includes structural steelwork, industrial & secondary steelwork, and architectural metalwork, including glazing packages. From large-scaled iconic structures, to retail market steel frames, and smaller architecturally sensitive staircases, canopies and glazing, we offer the same high-level of quality and expertise to every project.
Structural Steelwork
Our experienced staff have worked on large scale construction projects, including some iconic structures such as Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports, Emirates (Arsenal Football club), Everton FC, Brentford FC, Tottenham FC and Wimbledon (Lawn Tennis) Stadiums, as well as work within the retail sector on buildings for ASDA, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Lidl, Marks & Spencers, Westfield.
Secondary Steelwork
We have a wealth of experience in many smaller secondary steelwork projects, providing full survey and detailed solutions for AHU supports, plant deck steelwork, maintenance and access walkways etc.
Our wide range of skills allows for SKDS to carry out full site surveys of existing plant & structural elements, fully integrate proposed M/E schemes and offer a total detailed solution, even in-lieu of co-ordinated structural engineers information.
Architectural Metalwork
With many high-specification projects under our belt, our staff have provided fully detailed solutions for many architectural elements, including stainless steel and glazed balustrades, stairs and canopies. Our projects have included glazed unit solutions, hidden or architecturally sensitive connections and details, structural glazing, tension wires and other bespoke designs where the specification must be of the highest possible standard, but still economically viable.
