Terms of Use and Privacy Policy clauses define the conditions which you, the client, must accept in order to use our services and our  website.

SK Detailing Services Ltd accept no responsibility for any errors made in the provision of their services.  SK Detailing Services Ltd has made every attempt to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information they provide. However, the information is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. SK Detailing Services Ltd does not accept any responsibility or liability for the accuracy, content, completeness, legality, or reliability of the information they provide, and all drawings / lists / information of any nature should be checked and approved PRIOR to manufacture. No warranties, promises and/or representations of any kind, expressed or implied, are given as to the nature, standard, accuracy or otherwise of the information provided nor to the suitability or otherwise of the information to your particular circumstances.

 

We shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatever nature (direct, indirect, consequential, or other) whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise, which may arise as a result of your use of (or inability to use) our information or the information on this site

Terms of Use.
Terms of Payment and Late Payments

SK Detailing Services Ltd payment terms are strictly 30 days from receipt of invoice.  All works will be invoiced at the end of the month in which the works were completed.  Payment should therefore be received within 30 days.

 

Interest is charged on any late payment, at the Government Statutory 8% over Bank of England base rate.

 

This interest is calculated from the date due to the date of payment received.

 

 

The "Small Print"

We allow for working from figured dimensions only, from Construction status drawings.  We do not allow for interrogating any client models or electronic drawings.

Our package allows for the following:

  • Develop 3-d Model in Tekla (Version available upon request), including modelling of connections, under execution class 1 or 2 conditions.  Note - this model is always the intellectual property of SKDS and is not for release to any other parties.

  • Raising initial RFI's.

  • Produce One set of General Arrangements for approval containing:

    • Gridlines

    • Dimensional information / levels as necessary for client to approve.

    • Section Sizes, grades, and finish of materials.

  • Connection modelling for steel-to-steel connections.

  • Production of fabrication information including:

    • Fabrication drawings

    • Fittings & shaft drawings

    • NC data

    • Production Lists

    • Rolling sketches where necessary

  • One update of GA's to include any minor comments.

  • Production of Site Installation packs (either addition of mark numbers to GA's or 3-d views with marks)

  • Site Bolt List Summary.

 

(Please note all information will be issued electronically.  No hard-copy information is provided).

Our package does not allow for (but can be included specifically):

  • Interrogation of any client models or drawings to determine information not given on drawings by figured dimensions.

  • Working to any survey information.

  • Co-ordination work over or above initial RFI's / queries on client drawings, including excessive telephony.

  • Any additional revision to GA's other than that stated above.

  • Any revisions to model, drawing or issued information.

  • Steel-to-concrete connections.

  • Any phasing or lotting other than required by SKDS for internal purposes.

  • Any specific weld prep or notations, architectural details, or fabrication drawing notation other than standard structural welds.

  • Any specific finish notations or details.

  • Any specific details or notations on site packs.

  • Manlock or lifting hole requirements.

  • Netting or temporary edge protection holes.

  • Any cladding requirements, including bracketry or holes.

  • Site visits or meetings.

  • Providing of any information on templates other than those of SKDS standard templates.

  • As-built drawings

 

Please note that any works instructed and undertaken outside of the agreed scope will be charged by the hour.

 

Where it is necessary to work outside of SKDS normal working hours (8am-4pm Mon-Fri) this time will be charged at Rate 2. Rates are available upon request.
